Frequently asked questions

What customers usually want to know before their first order.

  • Which photo works best?

A sharp image where the face is clearly visible and well lit — ideally from the front and not too far away. Sunglasses, harsh shadows and very small faces in the background make it hard for the AI. Group photos work too; the fewer people, the better the result.

  • What does the preview cost?

Nothing. No account, no payment details, no obligation — you only pay when you order a product. Because every preview costs computing time at our AI provider, the number of previews per day is limited; it is easily enough to work through all the styles. Once you reach it, the shop tells you when you can continue.

  • What if I do not like the result?

Then simply generate it again, pick another style or another photo. We only print the artwork you selected yourself and put in the cart — there is no surprise between preview and print.

  • How long does delivery take?

Expect 5 to 10 working days. That covers three steps: the personal check of your artwork, production — every product is printed specifically for you — and shipping.

  • What happens to my photo?

Until you order it stays on your device; we do not store it at all. For the preview it goes to our AI provider and no further. Only with your order does it reach our server, because we need it to print — and it is deleted no later than 30 days after delivery. The privacy policy has the details.

  • Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

To all 27 EU countries. Shipping to Austria and Germany costs €3.90, to the rest of the EU €6.90. Orders from €50.00 in goods ship free. We deliberately do not ship outside the EU — customs and import duties would be added at the recipient's end.

  • Can I cancel an order?

Because every product is made specifically to your specifications, there is no statutory right of withdrawal (section 18(1)(3) FAGG). Still, write to us as soon as you can: as long as your artwork has not gone to print, we can almost always find a solution.

  • What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Write to us with a photo of the product and your order number. We will look into it — including with our print partner — and get back to you once we know what happened. Your statutory warranty rights are unaffected: in the case of a defect you can primarily request repair or replacement under the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG).
